Primary prefect investiture 2024
We are delighted to announce that the Christ King College Primary Prefect Investiture was held on the 10th of April, 2024, at the Christ King College Main Hall. It was a momentous occasion where our young leaders were officially inducted into their roles, marking the beginning of their journey in student leadership.
The event commenced with a solemn procession of the prefects, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge and leadership that these students will carry forward. The Chief Guest, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of responsibility, integrity, and dedication.
Our Principal, Rev Fr. Nihal Rodrigo, along with other distinguished guests, presented the prefects with their badges, congratulating them on their achievements and encouraging them to lead by example. The newly appointed Head Prefect, gave a heartfelt acceptance speech, pledging to uphold the values of Christ King College and work towards the betterment of the school community.
The event concluded with a cultural performance by the students, showcasing their talents and adding a touch of festivity to the ceremony. Parents, teachers, and students were present to witness and celebrate this significant milestone.
